About Morrison Fuels
Douglas Morrison Ltee is a family-owned fuel business, having operated in the Gatineau Hills since 1961. At that time, Douglas Morrison and his father, Roy, purchased a 1954 GMC truck in order to provide oil deliveries. Doug attended Ottawa Tech High School by day and made deliveries at night. He began with a grand total of six customers—and as the business continued to grow and flourish, he expanded the company’s products and services.
Now owned and operated by Doug’s three sons, the company provides delivery of a complete line of petroleum products and lubricants (including propane), offers sales, installation, repair and maintenance of residential/commercial heating equipment, and provides duct cleaning services and fuel tank rentals.
With more than 50 years of experience in the fuel and heating business, we are proud to be among the few family-owned fuel businesses that remain in today’s economic climate. We attribute our success to superlative customer service and a dedicated team of employees who live and work in the area.
Scott Morrison
Scott joined the firm in 2003 after obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration. Scott works as administrative supervisor and fleet manager. Married to Debra Nicholson, he is the father of three children and volunteers in the community as a hockey and soccer coach.
Bruce Morrison
Bruce joined the firm in 1989 after receiving a degree in Heating and Air Conditioning. Bruce is the head of delivery and dispatch services, and also operates our purchasing department. Married to Louise Laforce, he is the father of one daughter.
Louise Laforce
After earning a degree in accounting and business administration from Heritage College, Louise re-joined the firm in 2011 as manager of accounts.
Douglas Morrison
President and founder of Morrison Fuels, he remains active in the daily operations of the firm.
